Join our comprehensive learner driver training courses at Steve Ward Driving School ! We specialise in automatic driving lessons individually designed to prepare you for the DVSA practical driving test. These include regular lessons, intensive courses, semi intensive courses, refresher lessons and confidence boosting sessions using a variety of different methods including Mindfulness techniques. I am a qualified Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) driving instructor.
I regularly work with pupils with a variety of different physical, emotional and learning needs. I am able to customise lessons to suit individual pupils, explaining everything in a way that can be clearly understood and always providing individual feedback in a practical but considerate manner.

Lesson are normally 1.5 to 2 hours, to maximise your learning time and give best value.
(but can be for any duration to suit you…)
- AUTOMATIC LESSONS - from £38 per hour
Intensive Courses
Learn to drive in as little as a week with one of our Automatic Intensive Courses! (from 5 to 45 hours). We recommend that any courses over 20 hours are best taken on a Semi - Intensive basis over at least a 2 week period.
(The 5 hour intensive course is normally used for Test Resits and the longer courses are dependent on pupils experience and ability).
Before commencing any of our courses you will need to have a 1.5 hour Initial Assessment lesson at a cost of £60…
- 5 HOUR INTENSIVE COURSE - £190 - (takes 1-2 days)
- 10 HOUR INTENSIVE COURSE – £380 - (takes 2-4 days)
- 15 HOUR INTENSIVE COURSE – £570 - (takes 3-6 days)
- 20 HOUR INTENSIVE COURSE – £760 - (takes 1-3 weeks)
- 30 HOUR INTENSIVE COURSE – £1140 - (takes 1-4 weeks)
- 40 HOUR INTENSIVE COURSE – £1520 -(takes 2-8 weeks)
(For all courses of 10 hours and over, only £300 payable up front)
